The piecrust rim has an applied cast relief of fluid scrolling designs; the interior is elaborately embellished with foliate patterns with four reserves containing images of game birds the center is a heraldic crest off L'Amy reading "Per...Varios...Casus" (By Various Fortunes). Marked on the underside with London hallmarks date letter for 1824 and a mostly worn overstruck maker's mark possibly Geroge Smith & Thomas Hayter. Weighs apprx. 70.13 toz.
